Kuala Lumpur has many forms of public transportation, allowing you to access various parts of the city through this network of routes. The city's main transportation hub is KL Sentral, with convenient interchanges between buses, taxis and trains available.

Transportation options are available to Sunway Velocity Hotel from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL). Book a hotel car or opt for taxi service at the airport. It’s a 45-minute journey and fares vary during non-peak and peak hours.

BY MRT

The hotel boasts ease of transport with two major MRT stations at Maluri and Cochrane. 

The nearest train station to Sunway Velocity Hotel is the Maluri MRT station. A mere 500 metres walk from the hotel, it is located along Jalan Cheras.

The integrated station is accessible from four entrances, with three entrances providing direct link to the MRT station (Entrance A, Entrance B and Entrance D).

The Entrance B is located on the south side of Jalan Cheras. It accommodates access to Sunway Velocity Hotel and Sunway Velocity Mall, Jalan Lombong, and Jalan Galian.

Also known as Bintang Walk, it is well-regarded as Kuala Lumpur’s trendiest shopping and entertainment district, offering everything from sleek shopping centres to all-day restaurants and vibrant nightclubs. 

Bukit Bintang is also home to Jalan Alor, regarded as one of the most famous food streets in Kuala Lumpur which hosts a variety of hawker stalls and seafood restaurants.

4 stops away: Pasar Seni

Kuala Lumpur’s Central Market, better known as Pasar Seni is a popular destination for tourists, shoppers and art lovers looking for souveniers as well as art and handicraft.

A mere 500m away is Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown which is a haven for bargain hunters looking for clothes, bags, souveniers and much more. Food lovers will also be spoilt for choice with the various tasty dishes on offer.

5 stops away: National Museum

A short two-minute walk from the station is Muzium Negara. Located on Jalan Damansara, the National Museum is a repository of Malaysia’s rich cultural and historical heritage. The National Museum is situated in close proximity to the Perdana Lake Gardens. 

The National Museum station is also connected to KL Sentral, a major transportation hub through a covered pedestrian walkway.  For guests heading to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the KLIA Express Rail Link (ERL) departs from KL Sentral, the fastest non-stop journey between the city to the airport (KLIA and KLIA2). 

Brickfields, home to Kuala Lumpur’s Little India, is approximately a 10-minute leisurely walk from KL Sentral. This vibrant enclave is a colourful maze of textile shops and jewelry stores, plus guests can find an amazing melting pot of Indian restaurants and cafes, alongside shops selling everything from traditional Indian goods such as saris, flower garlands, spices and Bollywood music, to local delicacies and so much more. Little India spans from Jalan Travers to Jalan Tun Sambanthan; there is a 35-foot fountain at the junction, an information kiosk at Jalan Thamby Abdullah and a three-storey Indian bazaar at the end of Jalan Tun Sambanthan.

Those wanting to take the bus can do so from the KLIA and KLIA 2 airports and head towards Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). Once there, take the LRT from Bandar Tasik Selatan to Chan Sow Lin station via the Sri Petaling line. The hotel is approximately 1 kilometre away from that station.
