Earlier this year, I attended a concert at Bukit Jalil and decided to go by train instead of driving and it was surprisingly smooth! Here’s how I got there from the hotel, step by step:

Step 1: Direct Access to Public Transport
Sunway Velocity Hotel is directly connected to Maluri MRT & LRT Station via an air-conditioned link bridge — accessible from the Lobby level. You don’t even have to step outside! Within just a few minutes, I was already on my way.
Step 2: Board the LRT from Maluri Station

Transfer at Chan Sow Lin Station — Switch to the Sri Petaling Line.

Why It’s the Best Way to Travel for Concerts
If you’re unfamiliar with KL traffic, let’s just say post-concert congestion is very real. By using the LRT, I avoided long waits for e-hailing rides and didn’t have to worry about parking. After the concert, I simply hopped back on the train and returned to the hotel comfortably.
Back at Sunway Velocity Hotel, I even grabbed a quick late-night bite at the adjacent mall before calling it a night.
