MALAYSIA’S #1 BEST HOTEL SPA

The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, Sunway Hospitality Group’s five-star resort nestled in the limestone hills of Ipoh, has reaffirmed its position as one of Malaysia's leading five-star resorts after it secured a series of prestigious honours at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2026 – including being named as Malaysia’s #1 “Best Hotel Spa” for the third consecutive year.

At a glittering gala ceremony in Bangkok, attended by some of the brightest stars in Asia Pacific’s travel and hospitality industries, The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, a member of GHA Discovery, was also named as the #2 “Best Beach, Island & Upcountry Resort” in Malaysia, while its general manager Marc Groh was honoured as the #2 “Best Hotel GM”.
