Mengkuang Dam is the biggest dam in Penang and it features a beautiful landscaped garden. In addition to being a major source of drinking water to the population of Penang, the dam is also a favorite recreational area for the people living nearby. It is also a popular spot for some events, and one example would be the annual Penang International Dragon Boat Festival.
