Vegan Hospitality Certification
Sunway Resort Hotel is proud to announce its Vegan Hospitality Certification, achieved in partnership with Vegan Hospitality. This milestone reflects our commitment to sustainability and ethical travel experiences, ensuring plant-based food lovers can now indulge in an array of vegan-friendly dining options at our F&B outlets.

Collaboration with WWF
Sunway Resort Hotel signed a Memorandum of Agreement with WWF Malaysia, collaborating on Food Waste Reduction and Sustainable Seafood Sourcing. Through this collaboration, our staff receives WWF-led analysis, training and resources.

Commitment to Cage-free Eggs
Sunway Hotels & Resorts has been working with Lever Foundation, aiming to progressively transition to using only free-range/cage-free eggs by 2030.

Farm-to-Table
Ever-evolving onsite vegetable gardens are available at Sunway Resort Hotel and The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat. The hydroponic urban farm at Sunway Resort Hotel is perched on a rooftop and is in collaboration with Sunway XFarms. Over at The Banjaran, the retreat’s organic garden now spans almost 100 square metres. Our guests are able to explore and learn about urban farming; and also enjoy "farm to table" freshness where the supply of fresh produces including local herbs, native vegetables and fresh greens are used at our restaurants.
