SOAPFUL FOR THE COMMUNITY

Soapful is Sunway Hotels & Resorts’ sustainable initiative that repurposes used soap bars from all our hotels. We work with a certified soap maker to sterilise and repurpose each soap bar. We then distribute them to the beneficiaries for their personal use, and to be sold as part of their respective social enterprise programmes at charity sales, community markets and other social platforms. Soapful was officially launched by His Royal Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, the Crown Prince of Selangor on 5 December 2018. Soapful is a collaboration with project partners Ecolab Sdn Bhd, Kinder Soaps Sdn Bhd and the Selangor Youth Community (SAY).
