Hey there readers. Hope you are having a great start to August!
Like death and taxes, we can't escape the cost of living. Thinking about this makes me want to cling more tightly to my money, since it’s sure to be needed for some yet-to-happen crisis or unavoidable episode. But…it can also make me feel okay about shelling out for some fun things, especially ones that you get at a bargain!
For me shopping, to a large extent, is a social experience to be shared with friends and family. There’s no better place to do that than at your local mall. So I dragged my best friend, Lisa and headed to Sunway Pyramid Mall, one of the biggest shopping malls in Klang Valley for some fun, food & shopping! Since coming back to Malaysia, I have not had much time to shop except for a few buys online. Since it was a girls’ day out, I decided that we have to make the best of it and headed to Pyramid mall around 10am, all set to emulate the idiom “shop ‘til you drop”.
First stop, Forever 21 which has a constant influx of new stuff displayed throughout the store. The price is also a plus point with a range of items like accessories, lingerie, shoes, handbags and more. Of course Lisa and I spent almost a full hour in the store and bought some really great items at a bargain. Next stop was Zara, which was an absolute favourite brand of mine when I was in the UK. The Zara store located in this mall is fairly large and has both women and men’s range of clothes and accessories. After this we did a pit stop at Sephora, followed by Espirit, Aldo and Parksons. Trust me…Lisa and I were quite famished by then and headed over to Pasta Zanmai for a delicious fusion Japanese meal.
|A variety of choices
Overall, Pyramid is a well-balanced mall to shop for literally anything - gifts, books, for women who are looking for a variety of brands and men who love shoes and sporting gear. It has a good variety of eateries too (local cuisine, western, Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean etc.) and leisure activities (ice skating, archery, bowling, movie, karaoke), for coffee or even a drink at night.
Yummylicious! Had to treat ourselves
And if you want more it also has easy access to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park and three (3) Sunway hotels. Sunway Pyramid also provides huge parking bays plus easy access via public transport like the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) and taxis.
